2007 Home from the Heart

In one of the most important Builders Care fund-raisers of each year, an involved and caring area home builder steps forward and agrees to build the "Home from the Heart." The 2007 Home from the Heart is under construction by Magnolia Homes. Past sponsors have been DR Horton (2004), KB Home (2005) and Providence Homes (2006).
ust north of I-295 at the corner of 103rd Street and Kincaid, the home is contained in an exciting new concrete block development, McGirts Village, that will consist of 102 two bedroom, two-and-a-half bath units that will reflect the quality and excellence of Magnolia Homes.
Building 8, Unit D is our designated home and Magnolia Homes is donating all profits from the unit to Builders Care!
President of Magnolia Homes, Bill Keyes (rhymes with "eyes") and partner Ben Basile are enthusiastic supporters of Builders Care and committed to building the 2007 Builders Care Home from the Heart because they support the mission of Builders Care, and believe that it is the industry's best way to give back to the community. "Builders Care directly addresses sub-standard housing in Jacksonville," said Keyes. "It is the charitable arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and an important and much needed service to the community."
Keyes is actually working on his second Home from the Heart. In 2004, as Senior Vice President of DR Horton, he spearheaded the construction of the first one, beginning a tradition and a legacy. "We have already received enthusiastic support from our sub-contractors and trade partners," said Basile. "Their participation has been gratifying. It is a prime example of the whole home-building industry working together for a cause, especially in the 'tough market' conditions of today."
The home's completion date is set for the end of May, 2007. For inquiries, please call 260-5363.
Thank you, Magnolia Homes for your continued support of Builders Care!
