Vicki Cutshaw's Prayers Answered!

As you may remember, Builders Care produced a video showing the substandard conditions Vicki Cutshaw was living in. She was confined to one room because her mobile home had serious roofing problems. This also led to life-threatening mold throughout her mobile home. The public heard about Vicki's touching story and immediately it ignited a spark. Christ Church Anglican came across the video and knew they had to do something.
"After seeing Vicki's story and the way she was living, it made us want to spring into action immediately," said Dave Austell, associate rector and community outreach director at Christ Church Anglican.
Their congregation raised enough funds to buy Vicki a newer but used mobile home. They also fully furnished it with new furniture and decorated it with a southern living theme. Members of the church built a pantry that Vicki could have access to and fully stocked it with food. The ladies of Christ Church Anglican also provided new clothes for Vicki and a gift certificate to go shopping for a new wardrobe.
"It was amazing to see our members from the ages of 65 down to five come together for a great cause. Vicki touched everyone's heart," Austell said. He also said that Vicki's condition has improved emotionally and physically since receiving such a special gift. She actually now attends Christ Church Anglican and volunteers one day a week answering phones.
